Hooray for Kirk, who now has his own board!
Mr. Don't Jump,
How's the Vancouver scene treating you?

i've taken it upon myself to answer on Kirk's behalf.
Vancouver is treating me with great indifference. For instance, the weather is cool, but when i'm driving in my van the wind seems to be short, or crude even. And now that I have my own pigeon coupe, I'm no longer suffering from Van Halen envy, however I'm often seen wearing Van Heusen knitwear, ever since the great textile crash. If you see me manuvering between the cool weather and Vancouver's blatant indifference, than please take care. Also, now that I have this forum dedicated to my band Calvin Let's Jump, well, let's just say rock and roll and the reiki or one in the same. Also, when hiking in Vancouver, please be sure to stop bye and say goodbye, as I'm leaving for Toronto to get my hair shellaced with a Peruvian rinse from the moving hands of Alex Van Halen (without the sunglasses and the chinese gong)

That's silly. Kirk has a moped, not a van.

Well El Topo,
I'd like to tell you that Vancouver is fine but I have no idea who I am.

what a thrill to be one of harnk's alter-ego's! this is very exciting for me...
i do in fact ride a scooter. vancouver's absolutely brilliant in the spring, when it's not raining. as for the scene, well it can be fun, but it's not like athens, or new orleans, or san francisco fun. where i grew up, everything was a party constantly going on. here, people don't really have as much fun, but it's still a very young city (est. 1877 when the transcontinental railway arrived). we will be having a pretty great jazz fest this year though. i think charlie haden's coming...
anyway, welcome to the new board!!! yeah!
