I've been listening to a bunch of old Marshmallow Coast stuff recently and feel the need to proclaim Andy Gonzales one of the greatest songwriters ever.

Thank you.

I like Andy's stuff...particularly the middle albums....

but you, you're clearly off your fucker rocker with your proclamation.

I need to get a fucker rocker. That sounds like fun.

Evidence of my claim:

"Sunrise" from Antistar

"Jebodiah's Restraints" from Ride the Lightning

"Springtime's Here" from Antistar

"I Believe in Love" & "Sailing Around the World" from M Coast's Say It In Slang

and of course, my favorite,

"L'il Fun Machine" from Marshmallow Coasting

those would be some of my faves as well.

From the book of "It Could Only Happen in Athens":

Waiting for one of the Popfest shows to begin at the 40 Watt..."Li'l Fun Machine" starts playing, and it seems like everyone who's standing around starts singing along with it. It was really funny.
