I've been thinking about buying this album next. What are your thoughts on this album? I only own Hooray for Tuesday should I pick up another Minders release first?

I really enjoyed Hooray when I got it, but Golden Street blew me away and seemed to have much more staying power. Really great album.

In my opinion, and I have all their albums, pick up the compilation (Cul-de-sacs...)...that and Hooray are, again in my opinion, are all the Minders you need. If you not feeling all that decisive and feel like picking up a sorta non-descript jangl pop album, then pick up Golden Street...my guess is that you'll spin in 2-3 times are never reach for it again.

i strongly reccomend "golden street". one of the best e6 records.

1. golden street
2. cul-de-sacs
3. hooray for tuesday

all the others but these i'd say don't bother.

I freely associate my disagreement. Tree House and Hands On Heart alone are worth anything you might have to pay for it.

For what it's worth, I think the essential Minders albums are:

1. Hooray for Tuesday
2. Cul-de-sacs and Dead Ends
3. It's a Bright Guilty World (which needs way more love)
