anyone got the Frosted Ambassador album? if so, what's it like? i just won it off eBay, and i'm wondering what it'll be like.
also, does anyone else have the Black Swan Network CD? what the hell is up with that? maybe i don't take enough drugs, or maybe i'm not 'enlightened' or a 'good listener to music.' am i missing something?

frosted ambassador is pretty good. you might not like it if you're into songs with lyrics.
its more a collection of interesting sounds (unlike otc sound collages) rather than songs, in my opinion.

i really like the frosted ambassodor album. some of the samples in it are rather odd. "more butter"
as far as the black swan network... well its sound collage. i just got it more recently and really haven't given it a fair chance so i'll have to talk about it another time. but what i did hear was really well mixed. but didn't hold my attention for too long.

well put. near-exact to my initial reaction.
don't be surprised if you don't put it on again for a few months, especially if you get more new msuic in the meantime. it's just not very enthrallingly complex the way OTC is. it's just complex. a bit of a chore to listen to :\

well i did a little experiment last night, and stayed up as late as i could. put my headphones on and fell asleep listening to late music. and now i realize thats how you "have" to listen to it.
try it, it was interesting.
