I have a set of White Album Demos (though they're on a different hard drive) as well called The Esher Tapes because they were recorded George's estate in Esher upon their return from India. The tracklisting is slightly different and there are more tracks than the link above. Anyway, I also have some different versions of the record. I have it in Dr. Ebbets MONO and the German Direct Metal Master in STEREO which is very good sounding. Both of these sound alot better than those 80s cd reissues. If anybody's interested in the last two I can sendspace them. I also have Dr. Ebbets stereo and mono releases of all the Beatles records so the same goes for that. They are in vbr(192-256) mp3. If you don't know who or what Dr. Ebbets is take the time to look, its really cool.
The Dr. Ebbets are super high quality digital transfers from the original vinyl records (unopened in most cases) - hence the original mixes. In the 80s everything was released in stereo though they were all originally released in MONO. Towards the late 60s they were released in both formats but with the band and Martin only fully concentrating on the MONO mix. The stereo mixes were usually done later by the engineer as an experiment without the band or Martin there. Stereo was like 5.1 back then. So the true mixes are the mono mixes. However, when all the cds were reissued in the 80s they only used the stereo mixes and so the original mixes were only available on the actual original vinyl - if you could find it. He also did transfers of the MFSL vinyl box set of the stereo records from the late 70s as well as some other rare stuff. It's extremely cool to hear the records the way they were supposed to be heard. Let me know if anyone's interested.

which ones do you want? Like I said I don't have the Esher Demos on my current hard drive. They're on a backup drive at my brother's house. But I have all the other records in MONO and STEREO Ebbets versions. I also have a 2cd set of the Day In The Life sessions as well as a similar set of the Strawberry Fields sessions including all the working mixes as well as the original demos John recorded on his home recorder and while he was on the set of How I Won The War. I also have outtake collections for most of the records including Abbey Road, Revolver, Rubber Soul, etc... Make some requests...
I can tell you that MONO Ebbets Revolver is fantastic as is Rubber Soul. It's definitely a different experience listening to the original mono mixes. I prefer alot of them to the Stereo mixes. Just let me know which ones you want and I'll put them up on Sendspace.

Alright man. I uploaded the Ebbets Mono Revolver and Mono Rubber Soul. I also added to it one of the best Mono versions of Sgt. Pepper's which comes from a famous Japanese red vinyl pressing known as, what else, "Japanese Red Wax". These were the first issues of the Mono mixes in Japan as part of a box set of all the records on red vinyl in mono. These are the favorites of alot of collectors. Anyway, here you go and enjoy man!!

cool. let me know how you liked them. If you've never heard the mono before and you actually sit down and really listen to it, it's great... It's almost like they're new again but actually you're hearing them the way they were meant to be heard. Especially Revolver for me. If you like those I'll put up another one with Abbey Road, and maybe some outtakes or some of the mono early records. Just let me know which ones you would want. Don't be shy, man!! I wouldn't offer if I didn't have the time and besides I got these off OINK! so it's nice to still be able to spread them around.
