E6 isn't exactly a record label (any more, at least). I doubt they ever really accepted demos, but you could try. It's more of an artist collective. They all kind of knew each-other and worked on each-others stuff. It all started a long ass time ago HERE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elephant_6)

yeah i knew that, but i saw that they have some artist that are outside of the athens/denver scene which makes up of most of the e6 bands. thought it would be worth a try since i'm a big fan of the label and its bands

Well, I did pull out the rhino nonsense myself, but it was at least partially independent... I've been a big fan of elephants and rhinoceri for a while.
