actually, it's pita gora switch... not sure what that means, but that's what my japanese wife told me.

Pitagora Suicchi (Pythagoras or Pythagorean Switch), which is the name of a Japanese children's show. The 'Rube Goldberg device' segment acts as a transition between segments, if I remember correctly.
